1. Advanced Withdrawable & Modular Design:
-At its core, the GCS system is built around standardized, functionally independent withdrawable units (drawers). Each drawer—housing circuit breakers, motor starters, contactors, or instrumentation—can be easily inserted, withdrawn, or replaced without disrupting adjacent circuits. This design features distinct Connected, Test, Disconnected, and Withdrawn** positions, enabling safe maintenance, testing, and rapid fault recovery.
2. High Safety and Segregation:
– Busbar Chamber: For main horizontal and vertical busbars.
– Functional Unit Chamber: Houses the withdrawable drawers.
3. Superior Performance Parameters:
– High Current Capacity: Horizontal busbars typically rated up to 4000A – 6300A.
– Strong Fault Withstand: Short-time withstand current (Icw) can reach 50kA – 100kA for 1 second, with corresponding high peak withstand currents (Ipk).
